Where:American Eagle Stage
Chicago singer/producer Knox Fortune has made a name for himself as a collaborator to artists like Joey Purp, Kami, Vic Mensa, and Chance The Rapper, most notably on his Coloring Book feature “All Night”. However, it’s now the 25-year-old’s turn to step out on his own. Armored with breezy vocals and production skills he has been honing since his time at Colombia College and working as a sound engineer in a Chicago studio, he is ready to show off what he can do. While his production ranges from bouncy hip-hop beats to psychedelic inspired indie tracks, all still display a signature Knox Fortune sound. Now, with his first four singles of the year, “Help Myself”, “Torture”, “Lil Thing”, and “24 Hours” released and an upcoming debut project due on September 22nd, he is harnessing that very sound into solo work.
