If the festival is cancelled or rescheduled, will I have the option for a refund?
Yes! Should the festival be cancelled or rescheduled, you will have the option of receiving a refund or rolling your tickets over to the 2022 event.
What is the COVID-19 Policy and are there any requirements for entry into the festival?
Safety is always our number one priority. As such, a full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result will be required to attend the festival. Documentation will be checked upon entry, and acceptable documentation includes your actual vaccination card, a photocopy or photo of your vaccination card, or presentation of the NYC Covid Safe App.
What does a “full COVID-19 vaccination” mean?
In order to be fully vaccinated in time for Gov Ball, you’ll need to have received your last Moderna or Pfizer (or single Johnson & Johnson) dose by September 10th. If you have questions about COVID-19 vaccines or to find a vaccination location near you, please visit www.vaccinefinder.org.
What are the details around showing a negative COVID-19 test for entry?
For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of each day you attend the event. Ticket holders may be tested Thursday, September 23rd or after for their negative result to be honored on all three festival days. If you are attending only on Friday, you must take your test no earlier than Tuesday, September 21st. If you are attending only on Saturday, you must take your test no earlier than Wednesday, September 22nd. If you are attending only on Sunday, your test must be taken no earlier than Thursday, September 22nd. Documentation will be checked upon entry, and acceptable documentation includes your actual negative COVID-19 test result or a photocopy of your negative COVID-19 test result.
Are the new fall dates a permanent move or will future years take place in June?
We will be returning to our normal June dates in 2022. Summer starts with Gov Ball.
Why did the festival move to Citi Field?
Because it’s super easy to get to, we can dress it up like crazy, and it enables us to create a one of a kind 360° festival experience for you (meaning no long walks between stages or sound bleed!). Besides, you’re not a real New Yorker unless you’ve moved a couple times, ammiright? See the video for more details
I have a 2020 festival ticket that I rolled over to 2021. Do I have to do anything?
No! But if you have any other ticketing questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I have another question about the 2021 festival that isn’t addressed here…
